Any time you mention anything about living on the East line and the people around you who are 40 years old or older, you can bet a good number of them can tell you a story about living on the East Line.Β  The East Line is the CNR Rail Road that runs east of Prince George to McBride and what makes this stretch of track so important to the City of Prince George is the fact that with out the communities that were situated along it, Prince George would have never grown as quickly and as large as it did.
